Last Saturday May 9th The Lakeland Junior Bassmasters enjoyed a great day on LakeToho Fisher Cusic topped all anglers with whoopping 20.33 lbs of largemouth bass. Cusic was followed in the younger by Ben Jenkins with 13.66 lbs. Top spot in the older went to Richard Vennum with a 15.74lb bag. Vennum was followed closely by Harry Linsinbigler with 15.33 lbs.. Big bass younger went to Fisher Cusic 8.39 lbs while the top bass of the day went to Cole Schmucker in the older division with a 9.8lb monster. For the day the Lakeland Junior Bassmasters caught 156 Bass at a total weight of 364.35 lbs. We also had 2 8lb plus bass that qualify for Trophy catch.
Bryce Goff took first and big bass in younger division with total of 13.77 lbs of
bass and a big bass weighing in at 6.14 lbs. Bryce was followed by Stanely Flesher weighing in 9.12 lbs of bass. Top finisher in the older division was Evan Wieber with 12.52 lbs of Bass. Evan was followed by Bobby Bakewell with 10.59 lbs of bass. Bobby Bakewell captured big bass for older divisionbringing in one at 5.94 lbs. We had great weather but the bite was tough, however the Lakeland Junior Bassmasters still managed to bring in 66 Largemouth bass at 165.04 lbs.
Battling cold and windy conditions on Lake Shipp, the Lakeland Junior anglers came in with some very good bags. Cole Schmucher got top honors in older group with 17.11 lbs of largemouth bass, Cole was followed by Michael Maki with 13.70lbs for second place. Stanley Flesher took top honors in younger group with 15.06lbs of bass followed by Bryce Goff with 10.99lbs. Big Bass for Older Division was Austin Gilley at 8.21lbs. Trevor Larimer took younger big bass with 5.05lb.
