Florida High School Fishing takes on Lake Okeechobee

2 High School teams earned the right to represent .Florida High School fishing at 2017 Nationals.teams are Mathew Woodard/Jackson Williams from Auburndale HS and Christian Greico/Sebastian Greico Home School.

Bassmasters FLHS Day 2 Okeechobee-9 (360x240).jpgTop Highschool team was Christian and Sebastian Greico with 36.88lb.Second place went to Mathew Woodard and Jackson Williams with 33.46lb. Junior division went to Andrew Ready and RileyMcpherson 31.19lb. Second place in juniors went to Garrett Thomas and Junior Keller with 25.27lb 


Florida High School Fishing takes on Lake Istokpoga

The team of RJ Sanger and Levi Howell take top honors in Junior Division with a 10lb bag. They were followed by Vincent C. Maffei and Mathew Maffei with 8.64lbs.  The High School division was won by .Cayleb Albury and Clayton Johnson with a 21.65lb bay. Second place went to the team of Logan Lomneck and Daniel Adams with 18.88lb.

 


HighSchool do battle on Lake Kissimmee

Sammy Jay Acree and Fisher Cusic teamed up to take top honors in the Junior division with a 12.98 LB bag followed by Vincent C. Maffei and Mathew Maffei with 11.53. The Highschool division was won by Austin Chism and Hunter Middlebrook with 16.88lb followBed by the team of Cole Thompson and Bailey Chisolm.



The Lakeland Junior Bassmasters enjoyed the hospitality of Okeechobee Florida. The facilities were great. Top spot in the Younger Division went to Fisher Cusic with 2 day total of 21.71lbs. Fisher was followed closely by Aaron Lomneck with 20.67lb. Bryce Goff took first in Older division with 2 day total of 30.91lbs followed by Blake Everett with 25.33lb. Big Bass Younger went to Garrett Thomas with 6.42lb. Big Bass older went to Bryce Goff with 6.83lb. The Lakeland Juniors 2 day totals were 325 Bass with a total weight of 649.13lbs. Congratulations to all.


 

The weather was extremely hot on Okeechobee tournament weekend but  nobody melted. There were some good bags brought in. First place in the Younger division went to Fisher Cusic with a 2 day total of 22.29lbs of largemouth bass. Fisher was followed by Thomas Garrett with 17.58lbs. The older division winner was Cody Russell with 27.06lbs. Cody was followed closely by Bobby Bakewell with 26.97lbs. Big Bass younger went to Caleb Howell with a 6.87lb large mouth. Big Bass older went to Pablo Molina with 6.30lbs bass. The Lakeland Juniors over the 2 days caught 462 bass weighing in at 838.3 lbs. Well done to all.
